CMS’ Centers for Beneficiary Choices Engages DCCA for Another 5 Years Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA) was recently awarded a five year task order valued at $9.0 million, if all options are exercised, with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to continue providing programming and analytical support for the Managed Care Enrollment and Payment (MCEP) system. As part of this task, DCCA will provide program management, systems analysis and development, and operations and maintenance support. DCCA will continue implementing changes to support Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) activities related to the interface between the Automated Plan Payment System (APPS) and Medicare Advantage RX (MARX) by computing summarized monthly payments to Medicare Advantage (MA) plans, MA Prescription Drug (MA-PD) plans, and Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs). Every month, DCCA ensures that over $10.0 billion in payments are successfully generated to the Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and PDPs. DCCA’s ultimate objective is to assist the Managed Care community with their business process and technological transition from their legacy systems to modern technologies.
