Capabilities
DCCA uses a disciplined approach to performing information engineering and developing and documenting enterprise-side information system architecture.  DCCA performs the following:

  • Visualization, predictive modeling, decision tree analysis, association and link analysis tools application, and expert systems applications.
  • Reengineering and redesign and replacement of systems.
  • ELINT and SIGINT analysis.
  • Business function identification and analysis and flow diagram generation using business process reengineering techniques.
  • Statistical analysis, configuration management, report generation, systems fine-tuning, and database applications analysis using SAS.
  • User view and data access requirements generation using the Joint Application Development (JAD) process.
  • Data analysis, design, and modeling; and data dictionary transforms, and summaries development.
  • Metrics development for data flow analysis, and gauging office productivity and baseline establishment for future improvements.
  • Statistical analysis using data models and databases.

Project Experience
Examples of DCCA Systems Engineering experience include the following:

  • Process-driven analysis of activity functions and flows, such as analysis of work/processes for DHHS.
  • Web-enabled user interface development using JAD sessions, technical alternatives identification, and effective report generation for CMS.
  • Information architecture using statistical and data analysis and data warehousing technology for CMS.
  • On-going surveillance procedures of data that identifies significant patterns relating to fraud, waste, and abuse of Medicare funds.
