DCCA AWARDED $45.5 MILLION CONTRACT BY THE DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – February 19, 2019 – Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology (IT) and engineering services company, today announced that it was awarded a task order to provide technical support services to the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) E-Commerce System (ECS). The contract is for $45.5 million and has a five-year period of performance. 

This effort, the latest in a series of awards made to DCCA by other Government agencies, provides vital IT and engineering support for ECS. This support includes engineering management, sustainment engineering, enhancement engineering, change and modernization engineering, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support across multiple networks, applications and databases.

DCCA AWARDED $44.7 MILLION CONTRACT BY CENTERS FOR MEDICARE & MEDICAID SERVICES

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – September 20, 2018 – Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology and engineering services company, today announced that it was awarded a professional services contract to develop a user-centric, modern financial system for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The $44.7 million single-award contract has a four-year period of performance and is for the development of the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program Financial (MACFin) system. MACFin is a new financial system that will consolidate five different smaller systems onto one technology platform. 

DCCA will use a tailored hybrid-agile methodology that leverages SAFe concepts, such as Agile Release Trains, to deliver real values through phased improvements to business process and technology. Throughout this contract, DCCA will be able to reduce the number of manual processes by offering states multiple pathways for submitting data, along with making improvements to the overall user interface. DCCA will also develop an architecture that uses an advanced technology stack and a centralized data management architecture to support growth, scalability and change management.

DCCA AWARDED $138.9 MILLION CONTRACT BY A DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE INTELLIGENCE AGENCY

DCCA AWARDED $8.6 MILLION CONTRACT BY DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – July 27, 2018 – Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology and engineering services company, today announced that it has been awarded a task order by the Defense Health Agency to provide Development and Operations support services to DHA’s Electronic Commerce System (ECS), an enterprise-wide system that supports TRICARE, the healthcare program of the Department of Defense. 

DHA is accountable for the management and operation of the TRICARE program, ensuring the delivery of military health and private sector care services to beneficiaries, which includes active duty and retired military personnel, other uniformed service personnel, and their dependents. ECS, an integrated set of financial management, acquisition support, contract management, and contract operations applications, supports TRICARE’s procure-to-pay, budget-to-report, and order-to-cash processes. 

Under the terms of the E-Commerce Operational Systems Support (EOSS) task order, DCCA will maintain and operate ECS and provide a wide range of engineering and technical support, including engineering management, sustainment engineering, enhancement engineering, change and modernization engineering, and information assurance for the DHA ECS software applications and databases. Additionally, DCCA will provide cybersecurity services.

DCCA Awarded Agile Development Contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – August 24, 2016 – Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology and engineering services company, today announced it has been awarded a contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to design, develop and maintain the new Medicaid Drug Program (MDP) system. The MDP system will consolidate and replace the current Medicaid Drug Rebate system, Federal Upper Limit calculation for generic drug processes, as well as the Drug Data Reporting for Medicaid system of the Medicaid and CHIP Business Information Solution (MACBIS).

Under the terms of the agreement, DCCA will provide a modernized system using an open architecture to minimize vendor dependence, as well as open source COTs products to reduce costs. DCCA’s unique management approach uses human-centric design capabilities to enable short time-boxed periods of delivery. Aligning to the U.S. Digital Services’ (USDS) Playbook, this approach allows DCCA to release products to production when ready and provides users what they need as quickly as possible. It also allows for rapid and flexible response to changing business and legislative priorities.

The contract, which will provide higher quality support to manufacturers and other stakeholders, is for four years, if all options are exercised, and has an approximate value of $12 million.

DCCA to enhance the data analytics and cyber security capabilities of the Automated Plan Payment System

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – June 27, 2016 – Data Computer Corporation of America (DCCA), a veteran-owned information technology services company, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year contract by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The core of the contract is geared towards the expansion and enhancement of CMS’s Automated Plan Payment System (APPS) program.

Additionally, the company will maintain and enhance the CMS security posture to meet cyber threats and support the ongoing security risk management program.
