DCCA modernizes systems to improve the user experience and gain efficiencies.

Software Development & Systems Engineering

Maintaining legacy IT systems with old software and hardware can be expensive, time-consuming, and inflexible in a world where technology moves at a fast pace.

As such, federal agencies and organizations often grapple with aging, complex systems that are costly to maintain and too inflexible to support new initiatives.

DCCA designs and develops modern, flexible and agile IT solutions for federal clients.

DCCA successfully modernizes and migrates legacy and mainframe applications to newer technology and to the cloud environment. Our effective, scalable Systems Modernization solutions provide analytical and reporting capabilities. Realizing savings while delivering an enhanced level of service and information security is a key measure of success.

Several DCCAs modernization efforts resulted in Digital Transformation initiatives where technology was integrated into all parts of the business, changing how our customers work and delivering value to end users.

DCCA performs systems engineering, hardware engineering, network engineering, cyber security, systems integration, and testing. Security engineering includes design for encryption via High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE) devices and meeting the requirements of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), DISA STIGs, DoDI 8500.2, 8510.01, and CNSSP 12, 22, 1253.

  • DCCA has successfully modernized and migrated systems at CMS from physical data centers to the AWS Cloud. On MACFin and MDP, we incrementally developed and migrated operational systems while continuing to support ongoing state data submissions, file transfers, reconciliation, and CMS review and certification.
  • DCCA provides system engineering, operations and maintenance, system and network administration, and security management for communications and cyber capabilities in an IC enterprise architecture using geographically dispersed support to facilitate mission requirements to operational users.
  • In support of the Air Force Western Range Modernization Network, DCCA modernized the current communications components and their hubs from Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) to Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6).
