DCCA modernizes and manages networks, software, and systems to realize cost savings and efficiencies.
Maintaining legacy IT systems with old software and hardware can be expensive, time-consuming, and inflexible in a world where technology moves at a fast pace.
As such, federal agencies and organizations often grapple with aging, complex systems that are costly to maintain and too inflexible to support new initiatives.
DCCA's Systems Modernization solutions enable our customers to realize efficiencies and effectiveness and to leverage commercial technologies that are available to lower their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
DCCA designs and develops modern, flexible and agile IT solutions for federal clients.
We use proven techniques for operations and maintenance (O&M) to sustain desktop/storage virtualization projects as well as modernize network communications to IPv6 standards using MPLS based solutions. Our effective Systems Modernization solutions incorporate an architecture that permits additional Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products to be incorporated over time. Realizing savings while delivering an enhanced level of service and information security is a key measure of success.
DCCA uses service-oriented architecture (SOA) or enterprise service bus (ESB) as the framework for our Systems Modernization solutions, coupled with the twin features of a multi-tiered architecture and layered information security. Always aware of the operational environments of our customers, we strive to work within these environments, recommending additional products (COTS) only when required to solve a business need.

- In support of a federal health IT agency, DCCA provided development, maintenance, modification, and enhancement to ASP following the guidelines of an expedited Life Cycle Framework (XLC), which required full information security compliance. DCCA’s project team also integrated a Secure Development Lifecycle overlaid on top of the XLC to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
- DCCA was the prime contractor for a DoD program in providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support in a classified environment for a complex suite of mission critical SIGINT processing systems.
- DCCA provided ongoing operations, maintenance, development, enhancements, modifications, testing and support for a health agency’s Fraud Investigation Database (FID) systems.
